Plex App Store
When I upgraded to Snow Leopard, I also switched from XBMC to Plex. After installing, I was too smart for my own good and turned off Plex Media Server, thinking I was not going to serve any media files to anyone else.
Little did I know that this was used for the Plex App Store. So everytime (4 times) I went to the app store I saw nothing and then I read all these articles on how the Plex App Store rocks (here, here and here) and I’ll have a wtf moment. Then I kept thinking the app store must be a website with links to the apps. And everytime I search for “Plex App Store” in google it just gives me more articles on how the app store is f*#@king awesome.
Last night I figured out that I have to turn the Media Server on to get to the app store. The app store is indeed awesome. Now I can watch trailers in HD and latest episodes of South Park and The Daily Show. Also I discovered the most wonderful podcast ever! Railscasts!
