Byebye stupid erratic trackpad.

Apple Logo

Recently my trusty-best-laptop-ever the-one-that-was-a-pro-but-didn’t-even-know-it-yet macbook’s trackpad has been giving me some issues. Basically it was not responding to clicks about half the time, which was very irritating when browsing. I haven’t really been using the trackpad all that much as I mostly have a mouse plugged in so I have been putting off getting it fixed… till I realised I have one more month left on my warranty.

For once, the service centre was damn near my house, about 5 mins drive to Apple’s HQ near Yio Chu Kang MRT. Things that I liked about the servicing experience:

  1. Proximity to my house, didn’t have to travel to the West or Ubi.
  2. No queue.
  3. Staff was very careful with my laptop.
  4. Told me 3-5 days but said might be even as soon as the day after.
  5. Was done the day after.
  6. Replaced my trackpad with a brand new one.
  7. They cleaned my screen and keyboard.

Kudos to QCD (Authorized Apple Service Provider).
