Google going in for the kill

Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010.

Man, this is big news. Many have been trying to knock Microsoft off its OS throne. Many have failed. That pie is huge, its a freaking monster. If the new Chrome OS is anything like the Chrome Browser, we’re in for something good. Google has its eye on the target and Microsoft is right smack in the middle of its crosshairs.
